

The Michigan Association of Wildlife Rehabilitation is a 501©3 organization officially formed in 2024 as a professional association and resource for our field within our state. Our mission is to facilitate networking among wildlife rehabilitators as well as promote education, ethics and standards of wildlife rehabilitation in Michigan. Through our organization, we also aim to further the advancement of science and education by aiding and encouraging wildlife care, rehabilitation welfare, management, education and conservation. We also strive to provide quality public information that will promote conservation and a peaceful coexistence between wildlife and the public. We are committed to growing awareness and respect for our field.

Rehabilitator Education
We understand the importance of nurturing and caring for wildlife, and strive to equip wildlife rehabilitators with the knowledge and tools they need to make a positive impact. We aim to empower rehabilitators through educational opportunities to better understand the unique needs of the many species within our beautiful state.

Community Education
We are passionate about educating the public on the vital role of wildlife rehabilitation and the importance of having resources for injured and orphaned wildlife.
